KIDWISE™ is created by graphic designer Anja de Jong Nielsen: “The idea for KIDWISE™ arose from my need to teach my daughter to tell both analog and digital time. Then the growth chart was added, and hopefully many more products over time. We live in Copenhagen, where I also run my graphic design studio.
I have worked a very long time to find just the right materials and to fine tune their details. It was also very important for me to make KIDWISE™ products in Denmark. Firstly, I wanted the brand to be as sustainable as possible, but equally important I wanted to highlight and preserve Danish craft traditions. This means a higher production cost and smaller profits, but the reward for doing this are so much more.
