Every KIDWISE™ product is crafted in Denmark. We have chosen our suppliers carefully to ensure our supply chain lives up to our standards for production, quality and sustainability. We are a new brand that strives for the most sustainable choices whenever possible.

Recycled acrylic
We use Röhm proTerra recycled acrylic for the base, which is a sustainably produced, high-quality and environmentally friendly material. Using only a soft microfiber cloth, you can gently clean KIDWISE™ products – and remove the Sharpie marker notes with rubbing alcohol.

Important: rubbing alcohol must be applied to the cloth and not directly to the material. A microfiber cloth must be used – NOT paper towel or similar – as fibers can scratch the material. Avoid touching the edges as they can be damaged by the rubbing alcohol.

Grain leather 
For our leather straps, sliders and clockhands, we use grain leather from Danish and Swedish cows. In our view, leather is a sustainable material, because the cow’s skin is a residual product. Leather products have a long shelf life and are very durable. In addition, the leather only becomes more beautiful with use, which is a great side benefit. Our manufacturer ensures that the leather is not treated with harmful substances. The cow’s hide is tanned before they receive it. In Europe, we have the REACH standard, which is a European standard adopted to improve the protection of human health and the environment from the risks that can be posed by chemicals. 

When you produce leather or trade in leather in Europe, you must comply with the requirements of REACH. We ensure that our supplier complies with REACH and therefore does not use chromium (VI) or harmful dyes when the leather is treated. Leather is typically tanned in two different ways: chrome tanning orvegetable tanning. We only use leather that is vegetable tanned. This method is the gentlest for the environment, the climate and you.
